About John
John and Danielle Freed are passionate leaders, communicators, and disciple-makers with a heart for seeing people come to know Jesus and churches become multiplying movements. Together they have spent more than two decades serving the local church, equipping leaders, planting churches, and helping congregations make disciples who make disciples. They currently serve as the Directors of Church Multiplication for The Great Lakes Region of The Wesleyan Church, where they provide leadership in church planting, leadership development, evangelism, and healthy church multiplication across Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin. They have coached pastors, assessed and trained church planters, and helped churches develop practical strategies for lasting Kingdom impact.
Known for their authentic, practical, and engaging teaching style, John and Danielle combine biblical conviction with real-world ministry experience. Their passion is to equip leaders to cultivate healthy churches that multiply disciples, leaders, and new congregations. This fall, they will begin serving as the Lead Pastors of LifeChange Church in West Michigan, continuing their lifelong calling to strengthen the local church and advance the mission of Jesus.
Married for more than 23 years, John and Danielle are the proud parents of two teenagers. They believe the local church is God's primary instrument for reaching the world and are committed to inspiring leaders to live on mission and multiply their impact for the Kingdom.
